The Toronto International Film Festival is in full swing. Among the films picked up for distribution in the US is "Lyrebird", which I mentioned in my most recent Drama Movies column. Directed by Dan Friedkin, the film stars Danish actor Claes Bang as a soldier investigating Nazi art thefts in the aftermath of WWII. Guy Pearce plays a painter suspected of selling a Vermeer to Herman Goring. Sony Pictures Classics will be distributing "Lyrebird".
