"Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story", which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, will be distributed in the US this fall. The doc was directed by Alexandra Dean and co-produced by Susan Sarandon. In addition to being an actress, Lamarr was an inventor and tinkerer who developed a radio system to disable Nazi torpedoes during WWII (seriously!). The film will be released in New York on November 24th and then fan out to other parts of the country. Here is a link to a clip from "Bombshell".
