Well, I'm a whole lot older than Dianne is, and am prejudiced in favour of the songs of long ago. One is a song that was top of the pops when I lived in Nassau, Bahamas, back in the '60s". It's "Good morning, Mister Walker", by the Mighty Sparrow. I'm not allowed to post links, so anybody interested will have to find it on YouTube.
And for something a bit more recent, and with rather more of the standard Caribbean rhythm, "More Tempo", by Calypso Rose of Trinidad. Again, YouTube will find it easily.
