NASA's MAVEN (Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution) was launched several weeks ago. There's more about it in the thread "Where did Mars water go? MAVEN may find out!"

Mangalyaan (Hindi for “Mars craft”) is a nickname for the Mars Orbiter Mission sent by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Although India's Chandrayaan 1 mission went to the Moon, MOM is its first interplanetary mission. It was launched before MAVEN, but until last week was in Earth orbit.
