Aren't they one in the same?.. I consider myself a teacher as well as a learner.. There is only a slight margin between the two.. because both do the same things.. create works of art with materials within their grasp.
But, there could be one major difference between the two.. The crafter creates things mostly from scraps of what ever and these items never end up in or on display in a museum. Where as the artist.. thieves to have their works in galleries and on display.
As for the disconnection from yahoo or where ever.. this is a growing issue with many sites.. the more the users.. the more the issues.. thus I've left sites like Yahoo, facebook and now Google+ because of these issues.. I've lost numerous images and data because of these issues.
