Hi, I'm new to this board & am really just hoping that someone may have experienced something to shed some light on my situation. We just had our 6th miscarriage a couple days ago. Out of the 6 pregnancies, 4 have had confirmed heartbeats that just mysteriously stopped beating between 7-10 weeks. Of the 4 heartbeats, our first 3 did not have extremely strong heartbeats, to which the dr's seemed to attribute the mc's. But this last pregnancy, everything seemed absolutely perfect. We were seeing our regular OB and a high-risk pregnancy specialist this time. Of both dr's, they said everything about the pregnancy looked perfectly normal...the amniotic sac was perfectly sized & shaped, just the right amount of amniotic fluid, the corpeus luteum looked normal, for what the baby measured, he/she looked normal...our heartbeat at 5 1/2 weeks was 120, then at just under 7 weeks was 130, and last week the baby had grown to measuring 8 weeks and heartbeat was 174. We went back the following week (this week) and heartbeat was completely gone. They have no explanation.. I do have the MTHFR mutation, and have a hypercoagulation condition (both of which are VERY borderline, I tested to have both BARELY). I was taking a prenatal vitamin (Neevo), a generic for MetanX, extra B6 and B12 vitamins, a baby aspirin, and giving myself an injection of Lovenox daily. Anyways, enough with the details...has anyone else had this occur, where everything appears perfectly healthy & then the heartbeat just disappears?? Anything you can share would be greatly appreciated! And you everyone has a wonderful Christmas.
