lcp,
I can relate to your ongoing frustration. Some people think it's 'cool' to see things as they will and have happened. When I was younger, I tried to change the way things were going to happen. However, I only made things worse. Up until 2006, I tried my best to hide or ignore my "thoughts". In 2006 I realized that I could put my "thoughts" to good use and anonymously began helping families on the internet find their missing child or family member(s). In the beginning, I tried giving my information to police departments...only to be scoffed at. So, I decided to go directly to the source. I searched the internet for articles relating to missing children, teens or adults. When I look at the missing individual's eyes I can see a short time line of events they went through...or what they saw last...including the physical aspects. I really feel good knowing that there are families out there who can rest knowing their family is whole again...or laid to rest where they can be accounted for.
This is the first time I have shared this with anyone. I felt it was important to do so...in order for 'others' to see that good can come out of something that seems like a curse.
