Most weekends are pretty much the same... sleeping in, volunteering at the humane society, catching up from the busy week I had (tidying up the house, doing laundry, watering my plants, etc.). But once a month or so, DH and I have been taking weekend trips, especially if there's a 3-day weekend. Last weekend, we flitted off to Richmond VA just to be someplace we had never been before. We checked out the zoo, the museum of fine arts, and the Edgar Allan Poe musuem; did a little shopping; ate some Indian food; stayed at great hotels. It was an awesome weekend.
