I think it's interesting how many people on this board made career changes to be more fulfilled and happy!
It's because we can afford to. We have not sold our rights to happiness for the almighty dollar, like so many parents are forced to do. We can afford to prioritize ourselves when necessary.
I am unwilling to trade my happiness for more money. That's why I turned down that job offer in January. The job would have bumped up my income about 30%, but I would have been miserable and would have had to sacrifice a lot of flexibility. No thanks, I don't need the money THAT bad!
