My GP referred us to Dr Phil Airey. He's at the Merivale Medical Practice in Merivale Mall. He's done nearly 8000 vasectomies now, and my SO was the 4th of 10 that he had booked on Friday!
It was $70 for the first consultation, where he described the operation and any possible side effects etc. We were able to book his op only 14 days later.
The whole appointment was only half an hour, and it cost $300. Wow, Dr Airey got $3000 just for doing vasectomies on Friday. I'm in the wrong line of work!
After the op, we spent the weekend watching movies and making wedding invitations. The Descent freaked me out heaps, Serenity is still awesome, Mad Max still makes no sense, and Apocalypto is brilliant!
I think my SO is still a little uncomfortable now, but there was no bleeding or anything, and he's back at work. Much much easier than if I had a hysterectomy!
