I have no kids and got the Mirena this past April because I really shouldn't continue on Depo Provera anymore (been on it a long time). I am actually quite pleased with it and if you want it, I highly recommend Planned Parenthood. My nurse practioner was like "well, we should talk with the doctors and see if they will give you the IUD" and I went to Planned Parenthood and they give them to women with no kids all the time. It is harder for the doctors to put it in correctly in a women with no children so you should really go somewhere where they do it all the time.
