Frank... none of our business? i don't understand your point. I stated that we lost approx. 450,000 in WW2. Your posting was 78,000. I don't get it. As far as the 23,000 missing, i get that . I have an Uncle who has been missing in Belgium since 1944, therfore i get that!
What i didn't get is your response. Did i say our losses don't count? Reread Frank. All i was saying was that we can't forget the Soviet sacrafices. 20 Million Frank! If my math is correct, then that means we lost one person to their forty! Not to mention a good part of the eastern front part of the war was on their territory. I,m not going to critisize them for not extending their participation to the Asian front. Nor will i critisize them for not paying back to us our Studibackors or the Jeeps or food or whatever the hell else we sent them during the war. Because, once again, its a whole lot better to send materials and not get paid back for it then to send men and never get them back. As someone who was in that position before, i can really appreciate that.
