I know this isnt something eaten by my dog, but this, to me was weird -
Are there anyone's dogs that like human perfumes/scents?
My Bichon Frise LOVED to rub against me after I had sprayed my perfume.
It sort of dawned on me what he was doing that one evening before I was going out with some friends....I was dressing to go and he was jumping around like mad - barking and running and trying to get me to pick him up. I sat down on the bed and he jumped into my lap...just rubbing away....then he would hop a few steps away and smell his side where it had come into contact with me...this happened over and over.
After I figured this out, I bought a small bottle of Eau De Cologne in the same scent as my perfume and diluted it in a spray bottle about half and half with distilled water.
From then on - Whenever I would brush or bathe him at home, I would give him a tiny spritz on his back.....it was his happy-happy-joy-joy "tail wagging" moment each day and was abviously a treat for him.
Who knew that dogs liked to smell good??
