The name reads completely androgynous to me
My first impression was nearly the same. (But most androgynous names I see end up belonging to girls, so I probably would have assumed this was a female name.)
Personally, I think I would have tried to make one of the names a bit more gender-specific (e.g. Rhylan Briony, Rhylan Beatrix; Rhyla Bristol, Rhianna Bristol). My tastes are probably a bit different from yours, though, so take that for what it's worth.
