i am on a air ship and i am fighting a dragon of some kind and he turns all my guys into stone one at a time and i would like some one to tell me how to beat him so i can move on. so i hope u can plz help.

let the airship move out, and let Cid use the airship rockets 3 times
and then just use overdrives n stuff

just what gerbill have told u ask cid to pull back
cast haste, some magic spells and shoot like crazy
be ready when his hp is down to 10 000, soon he'll petrify u and will unleash is poison breath
that's the right time to use overdrives and some damaging items

I have in detail how I won this fight there, but just pull back until he's down to about 15000 hp, and then pull in and use al bhed potions anytime someone is stoned, poisened, or yellow. It may be a good idea to leave Rikku out so that you can switch her in at any time.

Buy Antidotes and Softs to customize Stone and Poison Ward onto your armor (which can also be bought from Rin). Cast Haste on your characters, and Slow on Evrae. After you knock off half of his HP, he'll caste Haste on himself. DON'T attempt to recast Slow on him, as he'll just be able to cast Haste again and skip the rest of your turns (so he gets to cast Haste and attack). Using Cid's missiles helps a bit, but they don't do all that much damage. Use Al-Bhed Potions when necessary, and Evrae shouldn't be too much of a problem.
