Average movie.
This was actually good until the stupid ending (im soooo fed up these movies having people who survive ending up in a mental hospital!!!!!!!!!). The gore is not disgusting (i did close my eyes before the dude lost his eyes since i cant watch anything happening to eyes even when the effects sucks) but there are a few tense moments. As far as the victims of the book goes they were all awful one way or another so I did not felt bad for any of them.
The cinematography is horrible. The directing is very bad. The sounds, special effects, editing and makeup are bad. The script and music are average. The acting is good. The sets, costumes and story are excellent.
