British cinematographer Douglas Slocombe died today. He was 103 years old. Slocombe photographed the first three Indiana Jones movies; his final credit as a cinematographer was "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" in 1989. Slocombe was born in London and worked as a photojournalist for Life magazine and a newsreel cameraman during WWII. His film credits also include the Bond film "Never Say Never Again" and the 1974 version of "The Great Gatsby" starring Robert Redford.
