Hello,

When I meditate in order to meet my guide, The imagery that I get is of myself as a little girl with long, blonde wavy hair in a short white dress with white socks and white shoes.

Flowers in my left hand looking back smiling as I run through a long dirt trail/ field with white and purple flowers on both of my sides. There are also tall trees and cloudy skies with the sun barely shining. A warm breeze. At the end of the field is a tall, thick beautiful tree.

I look left and later right to seek/meet my guide and all that I see is whiteness.

I later sit on the ground with my back leaning against the tree, looking at the field and I do not see my guide.

I request to see him/her/them but I do not receive a sign.

I tell them how I feel and thank them for their guidance and support.

What could this mean?

Is there another form of meditation that you recommend?

Ultimately, your spiritual guide is your Higher Self.

Spiritual guidance comes to us through a person so we can more easily identify with it. Remember the movie Contact when Jodie Foster meets her father in the other dimension. He says he takes the form of her father so she will be more comfortable.

It is beautiful you see your guide as the form of a child. It is our inner child of delight that we all seek once again, and is available to us in deep meditation.

Sit still, close your eyes, take regular breaths in and out. Concentrate on observing your breaths. Keep positive thoughts in mind and love for at least one other person or pet.

Enjoy the peace as it washes over your mind and body and know you've reached the home of the spiritual guru, where you can ask for the guidance you seek. Then after your meditation write out the instructions in your journal to follow through on.
