An international team of astronomers has found a
black hole with a mass of 12 billion Suns. But that's not the amazing bit of the story! We know of black holes much bigger than that. What's amazing is that this black hole is at the center of a very distant quasar. As you see farther way, you're also looking back in time because of the time it takes the light to get to us. This means that this monster black hole formed early in the Universe. Astronomers are now wondering where the material came from for it to grow so big.
