Lynne, the movie is certainly not an accurate portrayal of any sort. Better to read the story in Genesis.

Yes, I did read it and it reminded me of stories about the Ten Commandments - the soldiers were wearing wrist watches, etc.
It was comical but I think I will pass on going to see it.

I won't be going. I thought the reviewer did a great job of letting me know what to expect. Even if it was just a movie (not trying to capitalize on the Christian market) it doesn't sound something I would like.

It does. Rock monsters? I think it's strange that they think they have to change the amazing true stories of the bible, in order to sell a movie to the public.
