I wrote this wolf dream symbol last week. As I was awakening just this morning, still very much in the ether of dreamscape, I saw a black wolf image appear.
Typically, a black wolf would be an ominous sign in dream language but this is where it is important to see the big picture instead of relying solely upon dictionary-type explanations.
I saw a non-threatening black wolf. No dark energy at all. In fact, it was sitting with the expression of a friendly dog, tongue hanging out, fur fluffy, ears perked.
This is a good omen. And I got the clear feeling that this dream wolf represents my shadow self.
Once I was fully awake and able to consciously reflect more, I saw the connection with my recent waking life efforts to make peace with my shadow self.
It never fails to amaze me just how wonderfully our dreams and subconscious mind communicate with us.
