I've been using Avon Anew Rejuvenate face gel for a while and am generally happy with it. Do you recommend anything? I'm no longer selling Avon products so maybe there's something better out there.

I like Witch Hazel. Be careful buying it, since some is genuine and other brands are basically alcohol.

I've used Witch Hazel since I was a young teen. It is great for those with very oily skin or normal skin. Those with dry skin might prefer something more gentle. Sounds weird, but baby wipes with aloe and vitamin E are also a great choice for those with dry skin. Leaves skin feeling soft, clean, and smooth.

Thank you to those who chimed in on options for my sensitive skin for a facial soap. Burt's Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser was one - unfortunately it feels waxy on my skin and turns my face red

Hi Lisa,
The Best Cleansers are Willa, Neutrogena & Burt's Bees. Burt's Bees doesn't suits you, so try given two's.

Lisa sounds like you have ultra sensitive skin. I would test out any product on a patch of skin before using on the face. Some people have skin reactions to Neutrogena and Willa too.

So far the best I have tried (and still is sold - Nivea had a range for my skin type and it was discontinued and they never warned people about that ) is the Gentle Milk Cleanser by Avène. They have a range for intolerant skin and my mom can use these products (been using this cleanser and cream since having a facial on november 18 - will continue until my next facial) so that means that basically anyone can use these products since my mom is almost allergic to everything.
