Even if you think you don't have them, you do. Everyone and I mean everyone has Transferable Skills. Transferable skills are abilities that are valued in a variety of work settings.

If you're a student, most likely you're detail oriented, an expert at research and enjoy learning new things. If you're a stay-at-home mother, you're ogranized and you know how to multi-task and manage. If you've worked retail, you're expert at providing customer service and handling difficult people. Further you are a team player.

Again, everyone has transferable skills that can be taken from one job setting/situation to another. These transferable skills can help you stay employed even during the toughest of economic times.
