Being an avid reader and a spiritual counselor, I've been doing a lot of research lately, reading anything pertaining to metaphysics, I found the most amazing book called A Course in Miracles. It's an awe-inspiring piece. This one book alone has brought me greater understanding and peace than I could have thought. Please go get it, read some and let me know what you think!!!! Love n Light

Oh Yeah !
That's an incredible tome of knowledge !!
I'm not that familiar with it, but I know it packs a wonderful punch for spiritual seekers !

I really don't have any knowledge that is in my conscious memory right now.
I apologize, and no disrespect intended or implied.
A lot of it went subconscious, and I would not want to mislead you.
Just, Welcome Aboard !!

Hi Both
A Course in Miracles is massive! I have worked through about 100 days of the workbook and was enjoying it as a daily practice, then I got busy (as we do) and set it aside for now, but it is still by my bedside ready for the next phase. I know I'll be coming back to it.
I recommend Gary Renard's approach to understanding the course: The Disappearance of the Universe is fun to listen to on audio.

I have it on my Life List to read A Course in Miracles.
In the meantime I am reading "May Cause Miracles: A 40-Day Guidebook of Subtle Shifts for Radical Change and Unlimited Happiness Hardcover" by Gabrielle Bernstein which s based on A Course in Miracles.
And years ago I read Iyanla's Vanzant's "One Day My Soul Just Opened Up," which is also based on the course.

I've read A Course in Miracles and all of Gary Renard's books. We just ordered his newest - Love Does Not Leave Anyone Behind. Both sets of books require reflection - so just a bit a day and then a meditation for contemplation, in my opinion.

Funnily enough I've just been listening to The Disappearance of The Universe again on audio. I've lost count of how many times I've listened now- it seems each time I do another 'aha!' moment occurs. I shall take a look at Gary's latest book, thanks Susan.

A few years ago I read this article about memorizing sections of the Course. Do you think this might be useful? Memorize? Are You Kidding?

My feeling is that memorising some key messages that strike you as helpful might be good. Memorising is probably above and beyond the commitment needed, but if you are drawn to do this it won't harm you. Better to make the effort to live by the Principles of the course
