Now that it is summer, can we come up with some great charcoal-grilled sandwiches?
What about wrapping up a sandwich in foil and then tossing on the grill to melt the cheeses or just heat the contents?
What types of sandwiches would be good for this?

Coleman's Natural Chicken Burgers or their natural hot dogs are great on the grill.

Leftover cooked meats of any kind with cheese. You can make an assortment in small hoagie rolls or to make a party-sized grilled sandwich you can slice a large round loaf, fill with meats and cheese, cover with the top of the bread. Brush with olive oil or butter, wrap with foil and grill until cheese melts and the outside of the bread is crusty. Slice to serve.
I would serve with a variety to sandwich dips on the side. Anything from garlic aoli and au jus to barbecue sauce and whatever matches the sandwich fillings! YUM.

The trick is to allow the sandwich to heat through, melt the cheese and get crusty--without burning it!!!! A very tough task!
Anyway, when it's hot outside most of us like cool sandwiches. It's just that I need to come up with more easy party dishes so I'm not running around in the kitchen and not visiting with my guests!

I understand that concept. I have a Biscuit Brunch Menu that helps fill that bill. The link is in the Related Links of my latest article-Breakfast Sandwiches for Busy People.

Hot dogs grilled until they are black are wonderful summer sandwiches on a charcoal grill.

Grilling the meat that you put in a tortilla is a tasty option.
