Have a go at the latest English Culture quiz - ten questions where you are given the first line of a poem and are given four choises as to who wrote it.

I'd welcome feedback on the quiz and any thougs you have on your faviourite poem or poet.

Who Wrote This Poem?

I had a go at your quiz, though you won't see it because it said I wasn't registered. But I got 8/10, two I didn't know. I actually didn't expect to know even that much, but I guess I know more than I thought. But I think it's a fair quiz with some well known first lines in it.

I tried it and got 70% right, which is good for me since my knowledge of poetry is incredibly limited. I think it's a good quiz. I liked the trick question involving "How do I love thee, let me count the ways..." which Elizabeth wrote for her husband (I knew one of them was involved, but I incorrectly guessed that he was the author).

Mona 8/10 is good - I was aiming for things that people would mostly know or have heard of - thanks for the feedback.

Ro 70% seems pretty good to me. As with Mona I appreciate the feedback. As I was writing the quiz I was testing it on a friend who has an engineering rather than an arts background and they got several!
