I just did 10 min of this meditation - YouTube Guided Meditation - I found the approaching footsteps a bit creepy  Not serene.

Jennie, I, too, like to think of all people in the world as a big family. And we really are related if you go back far enough. I find comfort in that thought. Thank you for posting ...

A lovely meditation with some good messages - accept whatever state you are in now. Don't struggle for a "perfect" meditation.

I do enjoy him, Susan. I found the video a bit misleading, though, as it seemed like he put it up himself - but actually someone just taped a radio show and then put up that radio show plus an image.

Quite relaxing, I enjoyed her accent. The music was a little distracting, I think I prefer them with just a steady ohm type of sound. What do you guys prefer?

There again, some people like ambient sounds, but I think mantras such as ommmm drawn out with emphasis on the ending sound, are quite effective in deepening meditation.
