I started this topic so we can talk about positive things that have happened to us. What happened today for you that was positive and made you feel good about yourself? I get an email every other day with inspirational quotes in it. Here is today's quote...

I know many of you know I am remarried since i left my abuse. My husband volunteers at the school here where we live. We got a letter in the mail yesterday telling us that he has been nominated as volunteer of the month for one of the elementary schools he volunteers at! he coaches and mentors the kids in chess club to help the go to a tournament in the spring here in Cincinnati!

I am thankful for the friends that God has brought in my life to help me deal with the continuing issues w my boys. God always provides us with new hope!

This is actually a positive moment for the month for our family. My husband and his daughter reunited Tuesday after not seeing each other since 2001. Not by their choice. She is over 18 now and has 2 gorgeous little girls that she lets call me grandma She is staying until right after Thanksgiving.

I needed to hear this today. Thank you, Jeanette.
