In Pagan tradition the Sovereign is the keeper of the land a' la King Arthur.This coming week it will be 60 years since Queen Elizabeth the Second became Queen of the UK and Commonwealth.

This means an extra day bank holiday in the UK, Making it a 4 day weekend, and lots of street parties and official celebrations. This is the official site for the Jubilee , and This is the main site telling people what events are happening.

Where I live in Portsmouth seems to be having the most street parties, and Radio Solent, the local radio station, is covering lot of the local events . If you tune into that you can get a flavour of what is going on in the rest of the country locally.

What are your perceptions of this event, are you celebrating, and are you going to watch anything live on the TV? Also how much coverage is this getting where you live?
