Common poisons that can kill your pet!
Most of us know that antifreeze can kill your pet. It has a sweet smell and taste, and attracts animals to drink it. But, did you know that windshield washer fluids often contain antifreeze? There are pet safe antifreezes available on the market.

Many animal bites and stings can be just as lethal to allergic pets as they are to humans. Take special precautions.

Gardening time is growing near. There are many things in your garden shed that can kill pets. Often we take our animals outside for exercise and sunlight. We may have forgotten about the weed killers, insecticides, slug bait, and other nastiness we have put out on our lawn. Or maybe it isnt on our lawn but the neighbors lawn. Perhaps the county has a sprayer that goes by with pesticides or herbicides.

I am not just referring to dogs and cats. How about your pet rabbit that will be enticed to nibble the grass or dandelions? Your pet ferret? Your rat? The snake or lizard that enjoys crawling in the grass. Think about the horror and the number of animals that could come into contact with these lethal chemicals!

Also, remember that many plants are poisonous!
