Thought for the day:
Once we taste peace we are inspired to keep doing what we need to, to maintain it ... that's where meditation comes in ...

Nighttime meditation fits in better for me. Also I notice that I sleep better with less interruption.

I find I'm most able to ground and find my peacefulness when I'm surrounded by nature. Open fields, horse-back riding, bodies of water, aquariums, botanical gardens, etc., everything a person needs to know seems to be wrapped in that beautiful bow.

Daisybun, I agree that meditation is a great prelude to the peacefulness of sleep. There is not time to dabble in the waking world in between ...

Elleise, I too love meditating in nature, such as in a private corner of my garden.

Oh...meet you there. When I had my farm, my office was under an apple tree. All of my best thoughts, writings and meditations, anytime of day or night - I would find there
