How do you feel about a person disclosing that they have ADD when they are at work?

I feel that it can be beneficial.

Now...your turn.

I would probably feel sorry for the person, but then would also be proud that they made themselves capable of working.
Or else these days, some people just need an excuse not to work.

Jodiemt, what if the person who disclosed their ADD was a respected member of the staff who had been voted by other staff members as the person whom they wanted to represent them to other groups within the same organization? Rather than being a slacker, this person was known to work long hours and help other colleagues.

Do you think that their disclosure could help others see ADD in a different light?
