Every year I am inspired to make a new dish for the holidays.

Tonight I am looking for a little extra inspiration.

So, what's on your Thanksgiving menu?

I am spoilt Yvonnie, my other half cooked last night so when I get home from work today - I can eat. I did cheat and took a slice off his turkey which I discovered in the oven when I got up at 5am this morning. LOL, he had already had a plate - but not mad as he deserved it for cooking all night while I slept.

At age 53, I thank God EVERY day for this wonderful and caring (not perfect, like I am not perfect) 57 year old man in my life. ALL of our kids grown, been together 3 years - but living together nearly a year with me going back and forth for work assignments. But this time I am staying put. The last 6 months of being separated is just not worth it. Missed him and the doggies too much and could not afford to visit them. But I dont' regret this time away, just want to stay nearby from now on.
