Does anyone else find that although it feels good to brush your hair daily, sometimes it does cause damage to your hairline?

LOL, at age 53, I decided to do an experiment starting this week - to no use my brush. Hard, as I love the "massaging" effect on my scalp and it actually is like a "treat" = relaxes my head after too much thinking smile

Any thoughts on this subject?

Now to see if my hairline grows back or if it is just a sign of age and "salt & pepper" hair - thank goodness there is more pepper than salt = less gray than dark brown wink

A hairbrush is a stick brush with rigid or soft bristles used in hair care for smoothing, styling, and detangling human hair, or for grooming an animal's fur.
A brush is typically used on long hair while a comb is normally used on shorter hair; however, both may be used for either. A flat brush is normally used for detangling hair, for example after sleep or showering; a round brush for styling and curling hair, especially by a professional stylist, and with a blowdryer. A paddle brush is used to straighten hair, flatten long hair, and tame fly-aways. A hairbrush can also be used to remove loose hairs, and increase circulation to the scalp.

Hi Jons:

Can you overbrush?

How often should I be brushing?

I got weak and ended up going back to brush once a week after I oiled my scalp in between hair washing. Felt so good and I think my hair is recovering and hopefully will return(lol).

So not into wearing a wig - never have and don't want to...

Brushing is a good thing but over brushing is dangerous for your hairs.

Better suggestion always after combing your hair clean your brush properly and keep it in a dust free place.
