I love the canned soup for its convenience, but it is so high in salt. I don't like the additives, either.
In North America the weather is cooling off for many of us. It's soup weather! This weekend I made Turkey vegetable Soup in less than an hour from start to finish. It has no additives. I used home made broth, carrots, bell peppers, onions, celery, spices, and V-8. Oh yes, I used turkey chunks, too. (This recipe is a great way to use up after-Thanksgiving turkey.)
