Right Stuf, Inc. and Nozomi Entertainment have announced that RightStuf.com is now accepting pre-orders for Revolutionary Girl Utena: The Apocalypse Saga DVD Set L.E. The set will be available on December 6, 2011. For a limited time, and while supplies last, fans who purchase all three Revolutionary Girl Utena remastered L.E. DVD sets via Right Stuf will receive a replica of the signet worn by Utena in the series.
This set contains episodes 25-39 of the series, as well as the theatrical film Adolescence of Utena. The set is being released with 2.0 English Audio, 5.1 and 2.0 Japanese Audio, English Subtitles, and English On-Screen Translations. TV series extras include: animated art galleries, interview with the Japanese actresses for Utena and Anthy, interviews with the English-language voice cast, Japanese staff commentary for episodes 37-39, dueling themes karaoke with Japanese audio, Japanese TV spots and trailers, and the original North American trailers. The movie extras include: full-length movie commentary by director Iluhara, behind the scenes with the English voice cast, Japanese TV spots and trailers, and original North American trailer and teaser. The set also comes with a book that features content from the recent, limited-edition Japanese DVD box sets, including artwork, episode commentary and liner notes from the LD release (part 3).
