Love cooking with it, and love its health giving properties. Check out this week's article on the many ways in which garlic is wonderful stuff - from fighting colds to warding off vampires!
Hi Grace, the only problem I have with it, is the smell that lingers in your mouth FOREVER (lol). But it does have many neat uses and benefits. Wish I could deal with the "after" smell. I have been around folks that are taking it orally, and it is like their pores are oozing garlic. Oh no, not me - awful smell to be around all day.

I love garlic! Every time I feel a cold or sore throat "coming on" I crush some fresh garlic and put it on toast or put it in some very hot salsa. Cayenne pepper is great too for colds.
I don't mind the taste but if I eat a lot I get indigestion. In that case, I follow it up with some ginger.
Does is affect your pores? I just know how sick to my stomach I get when I am around someone that has this issue and don't want to join the list as some folks will not let you know you "stink"(lol) Maybe some folks don't have this issue????
