I decided to go back to school to get a graduate degree and I did it entirely online at the University of Alabama. I'll be done after this summer and I have to say that I found and am finding it a LOT harder than my under graduate degree which I earned the old fashioned way by going to class.

If any of you are on the fence though don't wait go back to school and get your degree. The important thing to do is make sure your school is regionally accredited. The other accreditation do not matter as much as the regional accreditation process. Also try your local and state schools before going to a private college. It's a lot cheaper.

Congrats Stephanie smile

I am right behind you, at age 52 (soon to be 53) I do intend to go back and finish up my incomplete 2 year degree. Just have to figure out in what as I am so not into "Secretarial Science" any more.

Wow Stephanie! That is so cool. What is your major? I have been attending Texas A&M University online and will graduate(MS degree)this May. I am majoring in Educational Technology, and yes, at times, the distance learning environment is quite challenging. Also, going back to school can really make sense. So many degrees are offered online anymore, and in many cases, the learner receives a superior education through this medium. And choosing an accredited institution is a must. Here in Texas, the public institutions of higher learning are such a great financial deal with the in-state tuition rates. Better late than never; I'm 53!!!

Stephanie - that is wonderful news - congratulations! We'll have to throw you an online party!

Angela - great for you for working on your degree! What types of things are you interested in?

Jackie - it sounds like you're about due for a graduation party too! What was your favorite part of the class?
