Yes, in fact all types of business and people need it if they plan on being successful. Even with job hunting, everything seems to be done online which is great when you have a computer at home and can spend all day filling out the job applications

I am inclined to agree, Angela,

The internet opens wonderful vistas of opportunity.

Though there can be serendipitous events leading to lucky breaks for some who aren't using it.

The article really would be better served by another title. It was giving examples of how different bands use the internet.

I would like to see what readers here think about various ways to use the internet for their musical careers, and what they would like to learn.
