There's a law that requires sex offenders to register within the county they live. There is now a bill that is being sponsored for people that abuse animals, to register as well. They would be required to register their name, address and photo.

I'm all for it. I can't tell you how many times I've walked into someone's house or yard for that matter during a business call and pick up right away there is something very wrong with the animals at the residence.

Animal Abuse Registery

Cruelty is cruelty - those that abuse other people or animals should not be granted the same freedoms as others since they obviously cannot be trusted not to abuse such freedoms. Registries are a good start.
