How do I get through The Light Room? Which gems go where?

Oh I think I just realized where it is you're stuck. If I'm not mistaken you don't do anything with the gems, in fact you don't do anything in the light room at all, save the gems for later in the game, you'll need them.

NWN is good. its disrupted my FFX playing suddenly, although i really need to get a GeForce 2 cos my PC struggles a bit. online its really good. i've also been really distracted by SSX Tricky recently too. its great fun, but the top scores on the official fan site - 2 million on all but 2 tracks!!!!! <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

To figure out where to put the gems, just read the inscriptions on the pedestals. the duty gem goes with the guard, i don't remember what the others are called, but the sadness one goes with the girl, the pain one with her lover, and the wisdom one with the king...This will make ALOT more sense once you read the inscriptions.
