BellaOnline Forums Career Small Office/Home Office Goals for the week

It's Monday and I'm setting/reviewing goals for the week. I have several meetings and lots of client work, plus three training runs, so in the "downtime" I have article writing, website and blog posts, a trip to Goodwill and some more organizing in my office to get done. Oh, and I have to go vote.

What are your goals for the week?

I need to send out invoices, complete a few press releases, write reviews, update CampVerdeLife with this week's posts, sweep through editor help, post an article on the Blogs topic, make plans to foster the new kittens, and do some catch up work with clients.

And I need to do a bunch of things at the MVD in Cottonwood. Blech.

My goals for the week - I have several article ideas that I want to put down on paper. I also need to catch up on my social marketing. Several projects that people want me to look at. Feeling a bit scattered this week. Not sure how much I'll get done, but I WILL be productive.

I have not been able to do anything online this week, but am getting somewhere with my car and cat situations.

I've done most of my stuff for the week, EXCEPT the office organizing--I've made it worse, actually by just dumping stuff as I run in & out. Maybe this weekend. . .

This upcoming week I plan to work on getting health care worked out...and still need to do invoices...

Hey Jilly - I had the health workout at the top of my list too, even though the rec center closes down from 7-30-8/3 for their annual cleaning.

So for this week...It's all about ORGANIZATION!!!!

I am determined this week.
I have URLS and certain phrases that I use at the end of some of my articles on other sites. I plan to organize those and place them in one word doc so that I don't have to retype and go back to the websites for the URL every time I need the link.

I also re-tooled my newsletter last time I posted and I need to get it on my flash drive.

Th other item on my list I actually banged out today. I didn't post last week because I was so busy...what was annoying is that I had two articles written waiting to post. So I've got them posted ahead.

I also want to work on my vision board more, it has a lot of empty space and is hidden behind my bedside lamp.

The good thing is that the hubby and MIL are off to California next week. 10 days of peace and quiet, just the kids and I will be home. YESSSSS

Jilly & Dianne, good luck on hitting those goals this week. I still haven't organized my office! And, unless I do it tomorrow, it will not get done this week. I have a client photo shoot Wed, and a breakfast, then a meeting then a trade show Thursday. Getting prepped for all that will take a lot of time, too.

Plus, I got a ton of books from the library to learn/plan some new ventures--considering becoming a certified vision board coach and also looking into maybe hosting marketing seminars.

Dianne, enjoy your "free" time.

Jilly, good luck with the health care and I have heard of some good invoicing programs--do you use one? I do mine manually, but I don't have a lot--I'm on retainer with my biggest client, for instance. Smaller clients I only send invoices if they request them or don't pay on time (as spec'd in the contract.)

My goal is for TODAY (lol). A week is SO long and I know me, I do not stick to them.

Today's goal is to get into my bed EARLY "tonight" so that I get up "looking" like I got some sleep at 6:30am tomorrow. Going back to work has been a "challenge" as I got spoilt with staying up late and sleeping in the next day (lol).

Hope you got some sleep, Angela. As a lifelong night owl, I certainly feel your pain! I can't sleep in much anymore, for some reason, I am awake after 7 hours most nights, which is plenty. I do often have trouble falling asleep, so I take Melatonin pretty often.

I did get a bit of office re-org done yesterday! YAY!
