Hi quilters. I've had this request today from a Bellaonline reader:
looking for the shell pattern that looks like a shell sliced in half. any ideas? thanks,

I've had a surf and can't find anything. Does anyone out there have any ideas?

Hello, new member/quilter/applique fan here! Are you still looking for instructions for the shell patchwork? I found something in an old embroidery book titled "Needlework School". The pattern there is called clam shell or fish scale, and it's a type of English paper method applique. I have drawn instructions which I can send, if wanted. Thanks - hope this helps!
