Spirituality is the knowledge of our soul or spirit. This knowledge is quite different from the material knowledge. Physics, chemistry, Bio and other branches of science research on matter and their research remain limited.

In daily life, we use our six senses to understand things and put the meanings to a situation. This understanding ability and our knowledge is also limited and revolve around the matter.

Did you ever thought about the things coming in your mind? When you feel hungry, when you feel tired and think that you should sleep, you think that I should visit the neighbors and more?
If these thoughts or feelings stop, what will happen?
If the thought or brainwave of hunger or thirst don't come in your mind, would you be able to eat or drink? If the inspiration or thinking of going to toilet don't come into your mind, will you be able to relax yourself?

If I am fortunate enough to define my words, the conclusion is that "If the messages or inspiration from the unseen source stop, it lead to the death of the individual".

An interesting concept - except some of these thoughts are actually reflexes built into us to insure our survival (such as begin hungry, thirsty, tired, etc.)

Yes, we do think about those things, but our bodies actually need those things and cause us to have those "cravings". Those are physical attributes, not spiritual.

Now going to visit a neighbor, reaching out to others in need, searching for a greater meaning in life - those are spiritual aspects and thoughts that while not needed for bodily survival are definitely the things that make us who we are.
