Today, my salad was mediterranian blend lettuce, cucumber, red onion, hard cooked egg, feta cheese and dressing of 50-50 mayo and sour cream. Very satisfying. After the first two weeks I'll add the sunflower seeds I love so well, and some olives..but for now..strictly by the book.

That sounds delicious WalkingGranny! I've never tried sour cream on my salads - but I love sour cream in general. I should give that a try! Olives are definitely my friend

Actually, today I'm making salad dressing with the feta cheese, mayo and sour cream. Very much like bleu cheese.

I'm not a fan of blue cheese at all but I do appreciate the concept! To me it bothers my stomach.

I'm having a delicious large salad today that my boyfriend made! It's with a mix of cucumber ranch and peppercorn ranch (we were running out of one) and it's very tasty. I'm having some Fritz Chardonnay with it

Today's salad is pretty much like the ones I've had before with the exception on adding the Japanese cucumbers. What a pow for a salad. I used the marinade as a dressing too. The only thing missing was bean sprouts. I'll have to remember them next time I shop.

Today's salad is a simple one - lettuce mix (carrots etc), olives, tomatoes, pine nuts, olives, and then peppercorn ranch. Very tasty! I gave some lettuce to the parakeets and they love it too!

That sounds delicious! I like pine nuts and peppercorn ranch...never mixed them together before though. I think I will give it a try.
