If you have a garage or protected area for your vehicle, make sure you park it there on Halloween night.
While young children will be coming to your house for sweets, older teen's may be in the mood for mischief, especially since it's a Saturday night.
Egg sales are typically high on Halloween. Unfortunately, many of them are used for throwing at cars and houses. If thrown with enough force, an egg can "crack" the paint protection on your vehicle and certainly leave a visible mark.
If you don't have a garage, make sure you have an outside light on near the car and leave some lights on in your house especially if you're not home.

Not to mention that egg white left to dry on the hood or side panels of your car will damage the clear coat and leave an ugly spot. A few years ago, I had no idea that I had been hit until I saw the damage a few days later.

1 Treat visitors kindly. The biggest reason that people tend to attack your home on Halloween is that you might be avoiding giving them candy. If you show yourself to be a welcoming neighbor, you might not get vandalized. 2 Pretend you are not in. If you decide to ignore trick-or-treaters, make sure you make people think you just aren't home. People probably won't attack your house if they don't think you are there. Turn off the main lights, shut the curtains and pretend you aren't there. 3 Tape up the letterbox, the only point of entry to your house. This prevents things like stink bombs, etc. 4 If you have the choice of parking your vehicles behind your house or next to the street, pick behind your house. This prevents drive-by eggings.

You should protect your car on Christmas too. Some kids broke into my ex-wife's car this past Christmas and stole all her presents.
