There is a school of thought that will argue tarot cards were originally used as a card game and not for divination (15th century). However, from around the time of the 18th century forward, tarot cards have been used exclusively for divination.
I agree that some tarot cards have beautiful artwork. Beauty is not used by God alone. People like to portray Satan as ugly and evil looking. In Bible classes I've attended, they've liked to point out that Satan managed to influence 1/3 of the angels to take his side and fall. This would make him quite charismatic and possibly he was attractive. The point is, evil, as well as good, can be found in beauty.
The Bible is clear on tools of divination. Divination is part of witchcraft. It employs the use of spirits through a tool to tell the future.
Deuteronomy 18:10--12 states anyone who employs divination is an abomination to the Lord. Galatians 5:20--21 states they won't inherit the Kingdom of God. Revelation 21:8 says of "those who practice magic arts their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur the second death"
Some further verses to look at are 2 Kings 21:6, Micah 5:12--15, Isaiah 47: 12--15.
