Male Breast Cancer

I had a close male friend die of breast cancer. One thing allowing the cancer to advance so far is embarrassment.

I had a double radical mastectomy so far I am still alive. I never thought twice about contacting a doctor or discussing it with someone. I had a very complex reconstruction done. I am willing show anyone who is facing reconstruction. Awareness would help men a great deal. Yes, men get breast cancer and they die of breast cancer. No macho about it.

They would benefit from the same education drive we benefitted from - face it the pink ribbons helped - the more awareness helps the comfort factor.
