I have a good friend who traded a craft for a craft, she made a Christmas stocking in exchange for the other person's specialty. Both were very pleased with the results. The time put into knitting anything rarely can be "worth" what you get paid, I thought this was a nice compromise.

I think I've mentioned this before. A good suspense movie will get me through learning a new stitch, especially one with Al Pacino. I'm not really sure why. Maybe it's because I'm listening closely to the movie and that keeps me from fretting too much over the new stitch.

It's really amazing how much I can get done on a scarf. I can enjoy the movie without guilty pleasure, as I have something to show for that time as well. That's a double good feeling.

I am heading off to watch the second season of Second Sight and work on a sock. Yup, it is a good feeling to work on something while doing something else...Lets hear it for multi-tasking.
