There are many new hairstyles that feature some curl. Are you using a curling iron?

I just reviewed the Rusk Ceramic Curling Iron

Thanks for the review. I use a curling iron all the time. I have permed hair - it's either tight or too loose; only just right for about two weeks but a curling iron is essential throughout the life of the perm.

That is the way with so many perms!
A curling iron is great to use to redirect those curls.

Because of the skin problem, the piteriasis amiantacea, I'm very hesitant of perming my hair, although I fell in love after the first perm I got...

So, I'm thinking this may be an alternative. Unless my dermatologist gives me the "go" signal for a perm... laugh
I can color it, though, so that is a plus. smile

I just don't have the slightest clue on how to use a curling iron... could use some guidelines.

Guess what? I give massages and reiki. More info here!

I don't use curling irons as direct heat really does a lot of damage to my hair. Instead, I do a sort of tissue curl when my hair's already dry. Or I just do these little knots or buns while my hair's damp then I just shake it off once i get to the office.
